Next up in Zavvi’s ‘Sci-fi Destination’ series is the classic Blade Runner, which will be getting a 4K release on May 3rd.

The 3-disc set will include the movie on 4K and Blu-ray, as well as a bonus disc featuring the brilliant documentary, Dangerous Days.

Pre-orders will live around 12 noon UK time on Saturday March 20th for Red Carpet subscribers, and around 6pm for everyone else, so ignore any ‘sold out’ notices until then.

    Why are the same films churned out time after time with a different steelbook? There’s plebty of other movies who should get the steelbook treatment that are ignored.

    i agree with Robert above, far far too many reissues of same films from the same big studios, Warner, Universal/Paramount and Disney/Fox when there are literally hundreds of movies not on Blu-ray in UK never mind a steelbook, a lot on blu-ray say in USA and/or Germany and/or Australia but even so I have dozens and dozens on my lists not on blu-ray anywhere yet owned by these massive companies. It continues to be annoying and just wish they would release the material onto blu-ray even if say exclusive to HMV (preferably) or Zavvi, a bit of that has happened but its like 2%. of what’s possible
