Zavvi recently brought us this new 3-disc (1 x 4K, 1 x Blu-ray and 1 x Bonus Features Blu-ray) steelbook release of Gladiator, which features a new 4K scan of the movie in both the theatrical and extended cuts, and a stunning DTS:X audio (fully backward compatible with DTS:MA) soundtrack.

This release had a very limited number of copies available (from a wider European release), but Zavvi have now been able to get hold of a few additional copies, and will be re-launching this as in stock (ie it should be shipping out with a day or two) around 6PM UK time on Sunday June 24th , so ignore the ‘sold out’ button until then.

If you missed this first time round, I can personally recommend it – the steelbook is very nice, while the 4K and audio presentation is top notch.

Pre-order: Zavvi
