With the bar set so high by Spider-Man 2, the third film in the series was bound to suffer in comparison. Spider-Man 3 is not nearly as good as its predecessor, but there’s still plenty to like, and it’s not as bad as some might have you believe.

Zavvi are bringing us a very nice looking lenticular steelbook exclusive on November 21st.

Pre-orders will be live from around 9am UK time on Monday September 5th, so ignore the ‘sold out’ button until then.

Pre-order: Zavvi

Steelbook Finish: Spider-Man 3 – Matt Varnish/Creative White Base/Emboss Spiderman & Title/Spot UV Spiderman

Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) and his duties as a superhero. But when his suit suddenly changes, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter, bringing out a dark vengeful side that he struggles to control. He must now battle his inner demons as two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) and Venom (Topher Grace), gather unparalleled power and a thirst for revenge which threatens Peter and everyone he loves.

Richie Pickett shame the film is so wank

  2. Simon says:

I actually liked these films with the old cast Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and James Franco, better than the Amazing Spiderman reboot, but I already have the Trilogy Steelbook, so will probably pass on these, although they do look good 🙂 so maybe…

  3. @zavvi I have to say SBR zavvi are knocking out some cracking stuff for Steelbook fans at the moment! Its all very exciting

  4. Simon says:

Priced a little too high though IMO, currently shown at £18.99 each! I would have thought the £12.99 to £14.99 bracket would be more in line. Even though the artwork is great, they are hardly new releases!

@zavvi Might be the worst movie of the 3 but sure is the best looking steel (in my mind)

Like the artwork far better that the one offered by HMV, plus ZAVVI ships to OZ!
