Fully restored Heaven’s Gate Prestige Box Limited Edtion coming to France in November

Michael Cimino’s grand epic (folly?) Heaven’s Gate is getting a limited and numbered Prestige Box release in France on November 20th.

While the movie’s production was famously out of control, and the finished product was widely panned on release, critical re=appraisals have been kinder, helped no doubt by some recent re-edits.

This release is expected to feature the 216 minute remastered cut from 2012, supervised by Cimino, along with a load of extra features and soundtrack CD.
