Infamous German shocker “Nekromantik” is heading to the UK, with a fully uncut Special Edition release from Arrow in November

Who would have ever thought that, of all films, Nekromantik would be getting the Special Edition treatment.

Originally arriving just as the UK’s ‘video nasties’ hysteria of the early 80s was kicking off, it goes without saying that until now it has never been officially distributed in the UK. While it’s been available in many countries for many years, it’s still banned outright in others.

Now, Arrow have taken the surprise step of submitting the movie to the BBFC – with VERY few exceptions, to be released in the UK a movie must have a BBFC rating – and, perhaps even more surprisingly, the BBFC have granted the movie an 18 rating with no cuts!

As a result, from November 24th, you’ll be able to endure enjoy the movie in the comfort of your own home, in this feature-packed Special Edition.
