Luc Besson’s “Leon” gets a 20th Anniversary Steelbook release in February

Luc Besson’s classic action thriller Leon (aka The Professional) is getting the Steelbook treatment for its 20th birthday, with a release on February 3rd.

The movie was the US breakout hit for Besson and French star Jean Reno, and also marked the screen debut of Natalie Portman, in a acclaimed performance of the orphaned girl trained to kill by assassin Leon.

There’s no word yet on artwork or extras, but hopefully this release will at least include the extended director’s cut.
