CULTURE TRUMPET – Well it was fun while it lasted… “Y: The Last Man” has been cancelled after just one season
Bugger. We were enjoying that…
Show runner Eliza Clarke has confirmed that Y: The Last Man has not been renewed for a second season. While the show is available under Disney+’s Star banner in the UK, it’s US home is with the FX at Hulu streaming service, and they won’t be continuing the show beyond season 1.
Clarke’s statement is below. In the meantime here’s hoping that a) the season doesn’t end on a massive cliffhanger, and b) it finds a new home to continue the story.
